Caring for someone can be rewarding, but it can also be challenging and stressful. Stress is part of everyday life, sometimes helping us achieve our goals. But sometimes stress can seem overwhelming, especially if the pressures on you become more intense and persistent, and you feel you can't cope.
The first step to coping is recognising that you're under stress. There are a number of organisations available to help you deal with the stress of being a carer.
